In this project, a prominent metallurgy enterprise required high-strength alloy steel drive shafts and gears for a large-scale rolling mill upgrade. The components needed to withstand extreme torque fluctuations and high-temperature operating environments while maintaining dimensional accuracy over extended service cycles.

The client faced three major challenges: frequent premature fatigue failures in existing forged parts due to inadequate material homogeneity, high rejection rates caused by inconsistent grain flow patterns in complex geometries, and extended downtime during maintenance due to non-standard replacement part dimensions.
